| On my visits to Wales in July , 2007 for Kathfest 1 , and July 2008 for Katherine's Westonbirt concert after doing some previous extensive research on Neath , I found it so fascinating , and beautiful , that I wanted to spend most of my time in the area experiencing the sights and sounds of where our dear Katherine grew up , all the way from a child and into the beautiful , and captivating young woman we've come to so dearly love and adore. The history , beauty , and solitude of Neath it's people and it's surroundings are every bit as gorgeous as Katherine herself. It is no wonder why Katherine has become who she is today. On the pages listed below , you'll find the history of Neath , see pictures of the church & school Katherine grew up in , and the Gnoll Park where she used to love to spend lots of time as a little girl. It became very obvious in my time here that God not only had richly blessed our beloved Katherine but also her hometown , and everything about it. It is without wonder why she is so very proud to be Welsh. |
