A man was driving down the highway in his van
drifting left and then right over the center line and then
onto the shoulder . A cop pulled him over and asked him
why was he weaving all over the road. He said officer I'm
so sorry but  I've got a full load in the back and it keeps
moving from side to side. The cop said I need to have a
look in the back of your van. When the man opens it ,
the cop sees it's full of penguins. The cop asks him
where he's taking them. The man replies I'm taking them
to the zoo. The cop says ok I'll let you off with a warning
this time but I don't want to see you weaving all over the
highway again.

The next day, the same man is driving down the same
highway in the same van and again he's weaving all
over the road. Along came the same cop and pulled him
over again. The cop says I thought I warned you
yesterday about weaving all over the road. Ok I need to
see what's in the back of the van this time. The man
opens the back of the van and this time the penguins
were all wearing sunglasses! The cop looked at the man
and said , you told me you were taking these penguins
to the zoo. The man replied , I did take them to the zoo ,
yesterday. Today I'm taking them to the beach.
Katherine's Infamous Penguin Joke
During Katherine's fall tour of 2006 , she opened her concert by telling this penguin joke , she told it such a delightful manner , and the
crowds burst out in a thunderous laughter night after night. I'm sure this joke has been told many times , but to hear Katherine tell it was
very special. Every time I've seen a penguin since that night , makes me think of Katherine and takes me back to that incredible evening ,
and I know the same is true for so many people who were able to share in her concert experiences on that tour.
Diva Katherine picks up a penguin
June 9, 2007

Classical diva, Katherine Jenkins, p...p...picked up a baby penguin named in honour of her
when she appeared at DZG's open air summer extravaganza.

The Welsh singing star accepted the adoption package for a two-week-old rare Humboldts
chick, on Saturday, June 9th, before entertaining a 2,500-strong audience seated in the
castle courtyard.

Katherine said: "I've always liked penguins, in fact I tell a little joke about them in my
shows. Over the years my fans have sent me so many cuddly penguin toys my dressing
room is full of them, but now I have my very own real penguin, and I¹m thrilled to be an
adopter of Katherine."

DZG Chief Executive, Peter Suddock, said: "It was wonderful to meet Katherine, she is
truly charming, took a real interest in the conservation work we are doing with the
Humboldts, and hopes to make a private visit to see her penguin in the near future.

The concert was a success and celebrated the Best of British with a Welsh diva singing in
an ancient English castle, and thankfully, the weather was fantastic.

Fans took advantage of a hog roast and champagne bar before enjoying the two-hour
show which saw Katherine sing a dozen popular arias accompanied by the National
Symphony Orchestra of London.

Katherine, who was supported by newcomers, twin brother act, RyanDan, sang a variety of
pieces including O Mio Babbino Caro, Time to Say Goodbye, and an adaptation of Dolly
Parton's I Will Always Love You before finishing with a Last Night of The Proms medley.

She said: "I had a fabulous time and it was fantastic to sing in such a wonderful setting."
